The Summer is winding down – scary, we know. Soon, students will be going back to school, college campuses will be swarming with stylistas, and the season of fall will begin. Naturally, that means shopping. The perfect way to cope with the transition of seasons is to go out and get the latest fashions.
We’ve put together 10 fashion trends that were seen in the fall 2012 Fashion Weeks that will inspire you when you’re on your little shopping spree.
Black & Blue: Don’t be scared of pairing black and blue this fall. It’s the color combination of the season, ladies. Marc Jacobs showed a velvet black and blue dress with a black underskirt that changed with the lighting.
Reptile Print: Animal print has been a staple in the fashion world for the past couple years, and will still continue to do so. However, this season the main focus is on reptile print which is seen in Yigal Azrouël line.
Embellished Sheers: Sheer pieces are getting fancy with sparkling embellishment, lace, and tiny studs. Christian Siriano’s sheer blouse has added gold, sparkling feathers. Also, notice the outfit is showing off one of fall’s main colors, burgundy.
High Slit Skirts: Maxi skirts have been the latest fashion trend but this fall they have a little twist. Add a little sexiness to your wardrobe with high slits reaching to the upper thigh. Carlos Miele, Yigal Azrouel, and J. Mendel portray this style on the runway.
