Top Bridal Trends from Spring Fashion Week 2013

After another FABULOUS and inspiring Spring Fashion Week, we’re taking the newest trends from the runway and bringing them home to YOU! Enjoy!

1. COLOR!
It’s not just about white or ivory dresses anymore. This season designers have been incorporating hues of ravishing reds, smoldering blues, and beautiful bridal blushes.  The key is to make sure that the dress still looks like a wedding dress and the color is flattering with your skin tone!

2. Portrait Backs!
The sexy back trend from last year went through a transformation and now we see backs full of delicate lace, beautiful embroideries, and surprising keyholes. These appliques are stunningly sexy and also modest for your big day!

3. Peplum Skirts!
Taking inspiration from the couture runways, wedding gowns have also adopted this waist-defining feature. Wedding gowns have recreated this trend through both structured and softly draped shapes.

4. Lace Nouveau
The Royal Wedding definitely influenced this seasons wedding gown styles, as almost every collection produced some sort of variation on the lace.  This lace is MUCH different from the lace found on your grandmother’s wedding dress!

5. Transformers
More and more brides are expressing interest in a second reception dress, so designers answered their calls! Hitting big on the runway this season are convertible styles that use removable skirts, trains, and capes to allow brides a distinct reception look.

  1. Greetings from Florida! I’m bored at work so I decided to browse your blog on my iphone during lunch break. I really like the info you present here and can’t wait to take a look when I get home.

I’m amazed at how quick your blog loaded on my cell phone .. I’m not even using WIFI,
just 3G .. Anyways, good site!

  2. Hello this is somewhat of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG
editors or if you have to manually code with
HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding skills so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!
